Patient is 8 years of age, dentally has 12mm overjet, class II molar and cuspid.

Skeletally Bimler analysis shows a class II, division 3, with a predominant direction of growth horizontal.

After six months of maxillary transverse development, 9 months with a functional appliance, and 12 months of fixed therapy the patient shows class I molar and cuspid normal overbite and normal overjet.
